*SHADES OF YELLOW STIMULATES OUR LITTLE ONES with happiness, energy and optimism…….â€* With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, preprimary wing and celebrated “Yellow day†on 30th January, 2020 . A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Dayâ€! Tiffins were filled with bananas, custard, jelly, lemons, mangoes, pineapples etc. Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars, teddy bears, dolls, balls, balloons, flowers and head gears made the learning environment active and sporty. Activity room was well decorated with paper Sunflowers ,Tweety , Airplane, Marigold,Sun n honey bees . The children enjoyed this activity and were very happy when they received a crown decorated with sun , yellow smiley and yellow balloon to take home. The teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressiveness, flair and ease. Focusing on the theme the teachers planned art and collage activities . The bulletin boards were reverberated with quotes, appealing posters of minions, tweety, honey bees and sunflowers highlighting the pop essence of yellow colour. To make the children understand about the significance of yellow colour. Along with this , BASANT PANCHAMI was celebrated with full zeal n enthusiasm .. Little kids prayed GODDESS SARASWATI to impart them knowledge and wisdom & have understood the importance of the day . Cheerful Children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Beams of yellow shades carried the promise of a positive future flashing creative thoughts in the young minds. The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment. *Yellow- the colour of wisdom and intellectual energy had a positive influence on our tender tots.â€*
